Strawberry Scones

The Ingredients

  • Dried Strawberries.
  • Flour
  • Butter
  • Sugar
  • Pecans

Instruction:

Heads up! Scones are quick and easy to make, but for the best results and maximum ease of preparation, you’ll want to pop your butter in the freezer for at least an hour before getting started.

  1. Beat the egg and cream together.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Grate the frozen butter directly into the flour. Then, toss to combine.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the flour-butter mixture, stir, then fold in the dried strawberries and pecans.
  5.  Divide the dough into two, pat each into a flat disc, and slice into 6 wedges.
  6. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with egg wash.
  7. Bake strawberry scones at 400 degrees F for 18-20 minutes, until the scones are golden. ENJOY!
